Scholarships and a strong athletics/academics balance.

Academics First
NCAA Division III

High-level academics, usually no athletic scholarships but academic/need-based aid.

Strong International Option
NAIA

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can TNA guarantee a scholarship?

No. Scholarship outcomes depend on the player's level, academics, timing, budget, university needs, eligibility, and coach interest. TNA provides evaluation, strategy, and professional support — not guarantees.

Do players need a high UTR?

Not necessarily. A higher UTR opens more options at higher divisions, but there are competitive pathways across NCAA II, III, NAIA, and NJCAA for a wide range of levels. We build a realistic list around the player's actual level.

Can international players apply through TNA?

Yes. We regularly support international players and help them understand the American college system, eligibility, documentation, and the recruitment process.

What is the difference between NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA?

NCAA (Divisions I, II, III) covers most four-year programs at varying competitive and scholarship levels. NAIA is a separate four-year association with competitive tennis and scholarships at many programs. NJCAA / junior college offers a two-year development pathway before transferring.

Do academic grades matter?

Yes. Academics affect eligibility, admission, division options, and access to academic or need-based aid. Strong grades widen a player's pathway significantly.

When should we start?

Earlier is better. Ages 13–14 are for foundation, 15–16 for preparation, 16–17 for outreach, and 17–18 for decisions. Starting early gives players more time to develop and more options.

Does the player need a recruitment video?

Yes. A clear, well-structured recruitment video is one of the most important tools college coaches use to evaluate players — it makes a major difference in outreach.

Which package should our family choose?

Essential Roadmap suits families who want to understand the pathway. Pro Recruitment adds recruit-ready materials and mentorship. Elite adds active D1/D2 outreach, advocacy, and offer review. Start with a free evaluation and we'll recommend the right fit.
